There may be no off season for Cape May this year.
Steven Spielberg is currently filming his latest movie, tentatively named “Non-View,” in New Jersey and the leading lady was spotted dining at a Jersey Shore eatery Thursday night.
Emily Blunt, acclaimed for her roles in “A Quiet Place” and “Oppenheimer” dined at Primal in Cape May, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.
“She came inside my kitchen and was an absolute doll,” chef Mia Chiarella told NJ Advance Media Friday.
Chiarella said Blunt ordered the restaurant’s surf and turf. “She told me everything was delicious and it was the best lobster she’s had,” Chiarella said.
Filming for “Non-View” is currently taking place in Cape May County and Woodbine for the month of March. Some shooting was recently done in Montville at the end of February.
The next spot for filming will reportedly be in Middlesex County as Spielberg currently has a casting call for New Jersey residents who have cars.
The movie is set to be released on June 12, 2026.
